St. Matthew Academy, Blackheat December 2006 saw celebrations of the new, state of the art, school building. Once complete, the purpose built school will accommodate 1400 students from ages 3-16. From September this year the St. Matthew Academy will replace Our Lady of Lourdes Primary and St. Joseph's Boys' schools.

WARWICK ROAD: Sunlight, a company that specialises in building flats to let, completed the purchase of the building on 181-183 Warwick Road, London W14, from leisure and residential developer Ombeter Properties last week. The building comes with two planning consents, one for flats and the other for a hotel. The proposed 104-unit Warwick House scheme includes 39 affordable housing flats, and would consist of four integrated blocks covering a total of 147,137 sq ft (13,669 sq m). The 144,452 sq ft (13,420 sq m) eight-storey hotel would occupy most of the available footprint. This will include 215 rooms and five suites.
